Terms and conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These are the terms and conditions of your MILA MOON membership, set out as briefly and clearly as possible.
1. Who we are and who these terms apply to
Your contract is with Mila Moon GmbH, Industriestraße 7, 63801 Kleinostheim (“we”). You can contact us by email at support@milamoon.de, by phone on 06021 1304580 and by fax on 06021 1304588.
These terms and conditions apply to all memberships you take out with us, whether online, in the studio or at a promotional event.
MILA MOON is a women-only fitness studio. Membership is open to women aged 18 and over. This restriction is in place to protect the privacy and intimacy of our members during training and in the changing rooms (Section 20(1) sentence 2 no. 2 of the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG)).
2. How your contract is formed
When you join online at milamoon.de, you select your studio, your plan and any extras, enter your personal and bank details and, as a final step, see all of your details again. Until then, you can correct any entry using “Back” or “Change”, or simply exit the booking process.
By clicking “Buy membership”, you make a binding offer to enter into the membership contract. We will confirm receipt by email without undue delay. This email constitutes our acceptance of your offer, and with it we send you your contract and these terms and conditions as a PDF. We store the text of the contract; the contract language is German.
If you join in the studio or at a promotional event, you take out your membership together with our team.
3. Pre-sale: when your membership starts
If you join before the studio opens, your membership and the minimum term begin on the contract start date we give you when you join. If the studio opens before that date, you may use it free of charge from the opening until your contract start date. You do not pay anything before your contract start date.
We will tell you the expected opening date when you join. If it changes, we will inform you by email. If the studio does not open until after your contract start date, your contract start date will be moved to the opening day. If the opening is postponed by more than eight weeks, you may rescind the contract, and we will refund any amounts you have already paid.
4. What your membership includes
You may use the studio during opening hours to the extent covered by your plan, as shown to you when you join. This includes, in particular, the training areas, classes in accordance with the current class timetable, and the changing rooms and showers.
Some services, such as the Red Light cabin, are charged separately; we will tell you the price in advance. We may change or discontinue services that we provide voluntarily and at no extra charge; we will let you know in good time before doing so.
Class times, opening hours or individual pieces of equipment may change, for example on public holidays or during maintenance or refurbishment. We will announce any significant restrictions in good time.
5. Fees and payment
Before you join, you will see what your membership costs: the monthly fee, a one-off joining fee and a training and service fee payable every six months. All prices include VAT at the statutory rate.
We collect all amounts by SEPA Direct Debit, with the monthly fee collected in advance on the first day of each month. If your contract starts on the first day of a month, as it does in the pre-sale, we will collect the first monthly fee, the joining fee and the first service fee when your contract starts. If it starts part-way through a month, we will collect the pro rata fee for the first month and these amounts together with the fee for the second month.
If a direct debit is returned unpaid through your fault, you will bear the resulting bank charges.
6. Term and cancellation
The minimum term depends on your plan. If you do not cancel at least one month before the end of the minimum term, your membership will continue for an indefinite period and can then be cancelled at any time by giving one month’s notice.
You can cancel in text form (an email is sufficient), for example by emailing support@milamoon.de or by using “Cancel contracts here” on milamoon.de. The date on which we receive your cancellation determines whether the notice period has been met. This does not affect either party’s right to cancel without notice for good cause.
7. Membership card and access
Your membership card gives you access to the studio. It is personal to you and must not be passed on to anyone else. At the entrance, we may check your identity, for example using an ID document or a photo that you have voluntarily provided to us.
Please tell us immediately if you lose your card.
8. House rules and health
Our house rules, which are displayed in the studio, apply while you are there. Please follow the instructions of our team to the extent that they are necessary for order and safety.
Only train if you feel well. If you have any health problems, are pregnant or have been injured, please consult your doctor before training.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable if we breach an essential contractual obligation – an obligation that makes the contract possible in the first place and on which you are entitled to rely – and in that case our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.
10. Right of withdrawal
If you join online or at a promotional event outside the studio, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days. Our Right of withdrawal page explains how to do this.
11. Data protection
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
12. Dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer conciliation body.
13. Final provisions
German law applies. If you live in another country, you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country.
